Element Random

Interwoven fragments of bodies serve as building material. Looked at directly, the canvas reads as a dense, saturated movement of forms; soften your focus slightly, and a cube emerges from the interweaving — voluminous, multidimensional, alive.

The artist treats alchemical transformation as architecture — a stable module, an element of something larger that is felt as an order beyond the visible. Here the cube is a functional unit: the thing from which a reality of another scale can be assembled.

The unfocusing needed to see it is itself an alchemical act. Dissolve the habitual way of looking, release direct effort — and the structure appears on its own. Under ultraviolet light, hidden layers intensify this sensation: the cube's multidimensionality becomes visible.
